My review of Sins of Solar Empire 1 🌌🩸⚔️🌎⚔️🩸🌌
I started playing "Sins of Solar Empire 1" back in 2010 while I was still living in Berlin, Germany. My entire life I love playing strategy games and one of my favorite real time strategy space games was "Homeworld". When I bought Sins of a Solar Empire 1 I looked online for mods for this game and I found a Star Trek mod that I really liked playing! Sins of a Solar Empire 1 is a 4X real time space strategy game that involves exploration, expansion, exploitation and extermination (4X). You can achieve vitory in multiple ways:
- Military Victory: This is achieved by eliminating all other factions or capturing their capital planets.
- Diplomatic Victory: Players can win by achieving a sufficiently high influence level with all other factions, leading to a diplomatic victory where they are unanimously recognized as the leader of the galaxy.
- Research Victory: By researching all possible technologies, a player can unlock a special "ultimate research" project that, once completed, grants victory. This represents a technological dominance over the galaxy.
The problem with space based 4X games is that when your empire reaches a certain size that it becomes difficult to micro manage all the planets, moons and asteroids in your empire! The larger the empire the more time you need to micro manage all of production, industry and mining operations! In many games you can even build your own spaceships and you can even choose or make your own extraterrestrial race! In Stellaris as an example you can create your own vessels and create your own race from scratch!
Years before playing Sins of Solar Empire 1 I played "Civilization: Call to Power", it is also a 4X game but based on Earth or land and water. Once you reach a certain technological state you can build cities on water and in space next to the normal cities on land! According to the prophecies of John of Jerusalem, after the global turning or global change, we will build cities on water, in space, and under water! I enjoyed playing the Star Trek mod of Sins of a Solar empire the most though! You can build multiple large fleets of all possible Star Trek vessels and command them to explore and use them to even create new colonies on habitable planets that you find in the star systems or galaxy!

These factions reflect the key players during the Dominion War era in the Star Trek universe, offering diverse gameplay experiences based on their unique abilities, ships, and strategies.
My only critique on the game is that once you build the fleets, and these fleets then confront other fleets in space then they will attack the other vessels like they want to and you simply have to let them fight it out. Yes you can command the ships around, but compared to the real time strategy game "Homeworld 1 and 2" where you can really decide on which strategy, formation and tactic you use, the battles in Sins of Solar Empire are mostly cinematic and based on experience points, upgrades and tech level of the ships. The AI then decides which sides is victorious.

Sins of a Solar Empire 1 and 2 are in my eyes some of the best real time 4X strategy games out there! And if you can I would suggest you play the second version of it, that just got published in 2024 because it has way better graphics than the first one! I personally did not play "Sins of Solar Empire 2" but I saw some players on YouTube play it! And if I could play it, I would choose either the Star Wars Mod version or the Star Trek Mod version!
Metaphysical meaning of 4X games: 🌌🩸⚔️🌎⚔️🩸🌌
According to my metaphysical experiences we are actually living in a hyper realistic 4X space game! In our galaxy alone there are hundreds if not thousands of different factions all playing out their roles! Some are benevolent towards us, and some are malevolent towards us and others are indifferent towards us! Our galaxy is full of intelligent life! And currently there is still a war in our galaxy! Some extraterrestrial races remain neutral in this war in between God and Satan and some have allied themselves with the Federation of Light to fight the evil and wicked extraterrestrials that fight for Satan!
This galactic war is reflected upon the entire universe! And the war in the universe is reflected in the entire multiverse! According to my metaphysical experiences Darth Vader really exists and is currently still building the Universal Superweapon (USW) to purify the whole universe from all wicked and evil elements!
What the 4X games show us is: than when a galactic civilization reaches a certain size then you need automatic systems or very advanced AI systems to govern these huge galactic empires! You also need instantaneous communication in between all planets, vessels and bases! In Star Trek as an example you have subspace communication that allows you to communicate over vast distances without delay even if the ships or bases are light-years apart! If a galactic empire incorporates multiple galaxies then you need another type of technology to communicate over these vast distances (micro wormhole communication as an example)!
You also learn how to manage ressources, peoples, research and production. Of course in real life this is way more complex! These 4X games are just an approximation of the real life game that is being played by God or Jesus Christ against Satan with the goal of ultimate salvation for all of us!
After the global change and during the Golden Age of peace and freedom we will develop new type of games where all these different type of games are somehow connected together! Some will play a 4X game (the president or commander of the entire board), the commander then directs other real players to build cities and bases on these planets that they have claimed for the empire (compare this to the game Sim City and Starcraft games), the commander then builds the fleets and orbital space stations, which are manned and controlled by other players (like the space games X3 and Privateer 2: the Darkening), and then the commander orders the troop transport ships to land on certain planets, moons and bases with real players playing these soldiers (First Person Shooter games). This vast and huge game should reward the best players and promote them accordingly. If you become the best soldier on the ground, you should get promoted to squad leader and then to platoon leader and so on! Once you are the best foot soldier or best Space Marine you can become a pilot and try to become the best space fighter pilot out there! Once you reach the best in all units you should get promoted to commander of the fleet or more! Once you reach this level you will know all weaknesses and strengths of every unit on the battlefield! This is just a short description of what type of game of salvation our reality is! But after the global change and Judgment Day we will all be able to play these games in such a way such that we all learn how to solve the problem that started this war in the first place thousands of years ago!
