It was shot in Taipei, Paris, and New York City. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Choi Min-sik, and Amr Waked. Johansson portrays Lucy, a woman who gains psychokinetic abilities when a nootropic, psychedelic drug is absorbed into her bloodstream.

Lucy is an American studying in Taipei. Her new boyfriend Richard coerces her into delivering a briefcase containing four bags of the highly valuable synthetic drug CPH4 to Mr. Jang, a South Korean drug lord, at Regent Taipei.
After witnessing Richard being shot dead, she is captured and forced to become a drug mule. One bag of the drug is sewn into her abdomen for transport to Europe. However, she is kicked in the stomach, breaking the bag and releasing a large quantity of the drug into her system. She acquires enhanced physical and mental capabilities, such as telepathy, telekinesis, mental time travel, and negated emotions; she also ceases to feel pain. Using her new abilities, she kills her captors and escapes.

My name is Lucy; after being abducted by Chinese gangsters I was used a drug mule for a new synthetic drug. One of them beat me and I overdosed on this new drug. My mind and body became transformed. I became a new being, knowing and seeing everything! I did not die; I became one with all of creation!

I was on a vacation in China, and my friend betrayed me and sold me out to Chinese Gangsters.
I was exposed to a new synthetic drug. After I was exposed, my brain went into overdrive. I could see the fabric of our own reality. I found out that we were living in a simulation. That our own reality was like a video game. I felt less and less emotions the more my brain became activated. I reached full immersion in our reality. I saw the past, future and present, all at the same time! At the end I became one with the whole universe!
These Chinese Gangsters spared my life but used me as a mule to smuggle this new drug to Europe. One of the gangsters wanted to rape me, and I brushed him off. He kicked me in my stomach releasing the new drug.

I just watched the movie "Lucy" with my mother and I must admit I found so many elements of different movies in it! It reminds you of the movie "The Matrix", "Equilibrium", "Dark City", "Inception" and it even reminds you of the video games like Grand Theft Auto 5. It has all the elements of an epic scifi movie that most if not all scifi fans would love!
Lucy is like a lamb in the beginning of the movie, but after being exposed to a high dosage of new synthetic drug from the underworld she gets supernatural powers. Her brain systematically increases in usage capacity until she becomes one with the entire universe. This movie is similar to the movie "Phenomenon" from the 1990s. It really makes you think and makes you question reality.
Lucy does not know what is happening to her, but she quickly finds out by researching about the drug that she got exposed to. She finds out that this drug gives you nearly full power usage of your own brain. And with this comes powerful abilities like telekinesis, telepathy, levitation and so on. She sees with her augmented vision that we are living in some type of simulation like in the movie the Matrix. She can literary hack into the code of the Matrix and see for herself what type of system is working in the background. Of course automatic response systems become activated through this hacking, and begins to dissolve. She quickly finds out how to solve this by exposing herself more to the synthetic drug.
Project L.U.C.Y. is a female bioweapon that was designed for total information awareness. A necessary weapon to achieve victory against Satan and their minions.
You must understand that there are potential futures and potential pasts! In this respect potential pasts can also be falsified to make you believe that we all originate from the original "monkey" named Lucy that mainstream science promotes as our ancestral mother. This is not the case. In truth, we all are descendants of Adam and Eve that were settled on Earth after they were outcasted from Paradise by our heavenly Father.
Lucy is according to my metaphysical experiences a real story in our pan-multiversal continuum! So if you want to watch a mind boggling and thought provoking movie then I suggest you watch it! Even my mother felt empowered after watching this movie! True female empowerment!
