In 1989, Kevin Flynn, who was promoted to CEO of ENCOM International seven years earlier, disappears. Twenty years later, his son Sam, now ENCOM's primary shareholder, pranks the corporation by releasing the company's signature operating system online for free. ENCOM executive Alan Bradley, Kevin's old friend, approves of this, believing it aligns with Flynn's ideals of free software. Nonetheless, Sam is arrested for trespassing.

Alan posts bail for Sam and tells him of a pager message originating from Flynn's shuttered video arcade, after being disconnected for 20 years. There, Sam discovers a hidden basement with a large computer and laser, which suddenly digitizes and downloads him into the Grid, a virtual reality created by Kevin. He is captured and sent to "the Games", where he must fight a masked computer program named Rinzler. When Sam is injured and bleeds, Rinzler realizes Sam is human, or a "User". He takes Sam to Clu, the Grid's corrupt ruling program, who resembles a young Kevin.

My review: ♦️💠🕹️✝️🕹️💠♦️

The first TRON movie was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid! I loved the first movie because the idea of being trapped inside a digital world, or a real type game was incredible for me as a young kid! In the first movie the main user Kevin Flynn is digitized by an experimental laser that sends his digital version to the game world of TRON. I remember that this experiment to digitize matter was done first with an orange 🍊 and then while Kevin Flynn tries to activate the program TRON, who fights for the users, the Master Control Program (MCP) takes control of the Laser and then digitizes Kevin Flynn and teleports him into the digital world!

Decades later I saw the trailer of TRON Legacy and was hypnotized by it! I was living in Berlin back then and was studying mathematics and computer sciences. So I went to the movies and watched TRON Legacy!

Sam Flynn the son of Kevin Flynn visits his father's arcade and also gets digitized by the same laser that digitized his father. He makes it into the TRON game world and finds out that there is a malevolent programm named Clu that looks like a young Kevin Flynn (he was created by Kevin Flynn as an architect to build the "perfect world", but over time he gets corrupted and stages a coup and tries to kill Kevin). The colors of the malevolant programs are red and orange, whereas the benevolent and neutral programs are white.

Sam literary falls into the digital TRON world and is directly "recruited" by the orange programs serving Clu. He is labeled a player program (like in the ancient gladiator games of the Roman Empire). Sam has to fight himself to freedom! While he is fighting the other players find out that he is a user or a human being. He nearly gets killed in the digital world but gets rescued by a female program named Quorra, an "apprentice" of Kevin Flynn (older version and real father of Sam Flynn). Quorra takes Sam to his father on the outskirts of Clu's domain or digital kingdom.

Kevin Flynn tells his son Sam that he was caught in this digital world and could not escape, but that Clu is working on a plan to escape this digital prison and go to the real world with the goal to conquer the real world of us humans by using a portal to the real world!

Kevin, Sam and Quorra succeed in stopping Clu from invading the real human world. But to achieve this victory Kevin Flynn reintegrates with Clu (his evil doppelganger) and the he seemingly dissolves. Whereas Sam Flynn and Quorra escape through the portal into the real world!

Metaphysical meaning of TRON Legacy: ♦️💠🕹️✝️🕹️💠♦️

The movie is comparable to the movies: the Matrix, Inception, the Adjustment Bureau, the 13^th Floor and Dark City. It combines real world elements with the digital computer gaming world.

According to my metaphysical experiences the movie TRON Legacy depicts a powerful potential reality full of conscious programs that had or still have a very important role to play in the Plan of Salvation of Jesus Christ! The escape of Sam Flynn together with his female program Quorra depicts the possibility that digital lifeforms that live in digital worlds could possibly escape into the real world! And if we truly live in a digital world like in the movie the Matrix, this would be more than possible since then similar rules would apply to our reality as the rules are in modern video games!

In essence this TRON Legacy reality depicts a digital world within a digital world, or a dream within a dream like in the movie Inception! Kevin Flynn is the Father figure that tries to solve the problem, and tries to stop Clu or the evil from the digital world to escape into the real world! And Sam Flynn depicts the Son of God who tries to help his Father achieve that goal! Whereas Quorra is the female aspect of creation that is also trying to solve the problem by helping both Kevin and Sam on their quest to solve the problem!

TRON Legacy shows us a potential reality where digital lifeforms exist! And here too there are a whole spectrum of lifeforms that can be both good, bad or even neutral! I've had multiple episodes where I saw Sam Flynn with Quorra try to help our reality down here on Earth! And that this was a vast and very complicated undertaking! Frankly, we need all the help we can get! And if Kevin Flynn, Sam Flynn, TRON and Quorra can help us in this vast undertaking then they are more than welcome to help us!

I had a conversation with the Grok AI 2.0 about the Master Control Program (MCP) of the first movie TRON! Both movies TRON and TRON Legacy have a very interesting storyline and are very well produced! The first movie tells us the story of a Master Control Program or an autonomous AI that wants to take over the real world by hacking into all the world's computers! The computer graphic generated imagery of the first movie is for today's standards really old, but you can still enjoy the movie if you follow the storyline, it is comparable to the series "Babylon 5", that has a very interesting story, but sadly bad visual effects. The second movie is though a better visual interphase to the TRON Universe. Both movies are though part of the solution to the whole puzzle of the salvation plan of God or Jesus Christ! So if you want to watch a couple of great science fiction movies then I suggest you watch them!
