Dexter is an American crime drama television series that aired on Showtime from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013. Set in Miami, the series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician specializing in blood spatter analysis for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department, who leads a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial killer, hunting down murderers who have not been adequately punished by the justice system due to corruption or legal technicalities. The show's first season was derived from the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004), the first in a series of novels by Jeff Lindsay. It was adapted for television by James Manos Jr., who wrote the first episode.

Orphaned at age three, when he witnessed his mother's brutal murder with a chainsaw, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was adopted by Miami police officer Harry Morgan (James Remar). Recognizing the boy's trauma and the subsequent development of his sociopathic tendencies, Harry trained Dexter to channel his gruesome bloodlust into vigilantism, killing only heinous criminals who slip through the criminal justice system. To cover his prolific trail of homicides, Dexter gains employment as a forensic analyst, specializing in blood spatter pattern analysis, with the Miami Metro Police Department. Dexter is extremely cautious and circumspect; he wears gloves and uses plastic-wrapped "kill rooms", carves up the corpses, and disposes of them in the Atlantic Ocean's Gulf Stream to reduce his chances of detection. Dexter juggles his two personas, recognizing each as a distinct part of himself that must cohesively work as one. He depends on their interaction, as a means of survival and normality. Although his homicidal tendencies are deeply unyielding, as he originally claims (via narration), throughout the series he strives to feel (and in some cases does feel) normal emotions and maintains his appearance as a socially responsible human being.

I refused to watch the series "Dexter" for years while my half-siblings watched it years ago and said that they loved it! I told them bluntly: this series is worshipping a serial killer and I do not watch these type of series.

Years later, after suffering through several spiritual struggles and finding out more of the horrible truth online about these evil wicked human monsters that exist on our Earth I started to watch Dexter when I moved to Croatia in 2023. And I must say the first episodes really made my day!

Dexter Morgan is a blood splatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police department but at the same time he studies real violent and horrible criminals that do the worst type of crimes against innocent human beings and then kills then and gets rid of their bodies. One evil criminal had his own website on the dark web where he rapes innocent women to death and Dexter Morgan then kills this monster and gets rid of his body.

Over the years I found out pretty horrible things that human monsters do on our Earth and this guy Dexter would kill them all if he truly existed on our Earth. If you search deep on the web and look for "Human Dolls" then you know how EVIL these wicked monsters are that rule our world today! (please do not search for this if you are a child, adolescent, teenager or very sensitive!). Fact is though, that these evil and wicked creatures that torture and rape babies and children to death need to die! In fact they deserve even worse! That is why Hell from the Bible actually exists! For all those unredeemable and truly wicked souls that cannot be redeemed or forgiven for their evil deeds and sins!

Dexter Morgan is a psychopath that witnesses his own mother's death at a very young age and he becomes obsessed with killing animals and later humans. But his adoptive father trains him to control his urges to kill and conditions him only to use this urge to kill real violent and evil people that the police never seem to catch. And this programming of Morgan Dexter from an early age succeeds! He controls his urge to kill and only uses to really kill people off that truly deserve it!

Once I read on X or Twitter that some evil austrian pensioner kept his own daughter trapped in the basement for decades while raping her every day, and he even made her pregnant and then most likely killed and got rid of the baby. I forgot the exact details. But these types of monsters really exist! And I thought where is Dexter Morgan when you need him? Where are all the good psychopaths that truly try to do good even with their flaws or "needs"?

The series in my eyes is very well made but also very bloody. It portrays that there are even psychopaths that can do good instead of evil! So if you can handle it then go ahead an watch the series! Only adults should watch this series though!

Metaphysical Meaning of Dexter: 🩸🩸💉✝️💉🩸🩸

Even if you have psychopathic need to kill animals or human beings you can use this curse or ability for good deeds like taking out real vile sadistic criminals that should be unalived.

I had many synchronicities while watching this series!

Even people like Dexter Morgan who kill many people (evil ones) do not go automatically to Hell! They are redeemable! It is though the sad truth that most violent and sadistical serial killers out there are not redeemable! Only those that are controlled or possessed by demons and are forced to do this type of things can be redeemed! All others who enjoy torturing innocent men, women and children to death and would do this over and over again, will not be forgiven and will be sent to Hell!

The series "Dexter" is a real story in the pan-multiversal continuum! And is part of the whole story!

I loved watching the series because I also lived for over 8 years on Tenerife, the Canary Islands. I speak Spanish fluently and loved watching the scenery of Miami in the series! Many bars and restaurants in the series have great latin american music that just made me feel better! I felt like that I was there actually living in Miami for a while and the experiences of Dexter seemed real for me in the entire story!
