The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is an American television sitcom created by Andy and Susan Borowitz that aired on NBC from September 10, 1990, to May 20, 1996. The series stars Will Smith as a fictionalized version of himself, a street-smart teenager born and raised in West Philadelphia who is sent to live with his wealthy uncle and aunt in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, where his lifestyle often clashes with that of his upper-class relatives.

My review: ✨💚👑✝️👑💚✨
I first started watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" as a 10 year old while still living in San Francisco, California in 1994-1995, and I must say I loved the series from the very beginning! I kept watching the series when I moved back to Heide-Kalmthout, Belgium in 1995. And years later I watched many of the episodes and series againg on Netflix!
Will Smith gets in trouble in Philadelphia with local gangs and is ordered by his own mother to go live with his uncle in Bel-Air California. The intro of the sitcom tells the story why he moved to his relatives in California. The rap song is sung by Will Smith himself! And I must admit this is my favorite rap song by Will Smith. He stated once in an interview that he never uses slur words in his rap songs because his mother taught him to never speak fouly in conversations or potential rap songs and he kept his word to his mother his entire life! I must admit though, that Will Smith did not become famous because of his rap songs, but because of this sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"! From there his career in Hollywood skyrocketed! The first real blockbuster movie he acted in was the movie "Independence Day (1996)" where he acted as a fighter pilot to fight evil aliens that want to exploit and destroy Earth! I loved watching that movie back then in the theaters in Belgium!
In essence the sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" was a self fulfilling prophecy! Will Smith played himself in the series and in essence it was the blue print for his entire acting career!
During the course of the entire 6 seasons you learn a lot about young adolescent men trying to make it through high school and trying to get a girlfriend! Will Smith tries in so many ways to get laid and gets turned down so many times and you keep laughing at the jokes that he makes about his cousin Carlton and his uncle Phil. Sometimes you can't stop laughing and you just wanna keep watching more and more of the sitcom!
I remember once that Will was trying to seduce a young christian woman, and she told him that according to her religious beliefs that she can only have sex with him after they were married. And Will Smith with his best friend Jazz then try to fake a wedding in las Vegas to try to get this young woman into his bed! Of course she finds out about this after the fake wedding and Will says: "While we are here in this bedroom, you know, we could do it!". Then she punches Will Smith in the face and the episode ends! The entire show teaches us a lot of things! There are many types of women out there! And some are willing to go with you and others not! And Uncle Phil is a judge that has to work every day to keep the family financially afloat. The favorite niece of Will is of course Ashley Banks that learns more and more to speak her own mind and to give her own opinion on everything because of the influence of Will Smith!
This sitcom lighted my childhood years and made me laugh as an adult over and over again! This series is truly a positive and uplifting series that everyone should watch! The characters keep evolving and gain experiences over time and you learn a lot about social interactions while watching this series!
Metaphysical meaning: ✨💚👑✝️👑💚✨
The sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" plays a very important role in the Plan of Salvation through Christ! I've had numerous episodes with the main characters of this sitcom! Will Smith plays a vital role in this grand plan of the ages through Jesus Christ! And even uncle Phil plays a very important role in this! Through Jesus Christ Judge Philip Banks had the right according to my metaphysical experiences to decide which punishment the souls of the sinners and wicked had after their earthly death! I've seen that Judge Philip Banks truly had a glow in his eyes and was enjoying to pass real righteous judgment on these wicked souls! Again, most sinners and wicked souls will end up in purgatory, only a minority will end up in Hell! But what better choice to have Judge Philip Banks do this job? Nearly everyone in the whole world knows him from this sitcom! Yes, at the end Jesus Christ will truly judge the entire world with true justice! But he also can work through others! Maybe it was just a wishful dream, I don't know, but I truly enjoyed the series and all the metaphysical episodes I had after waking up to the truth! The sitcom is made of true stories from the pan-multiversal continuum! And this sitcom is part of the healing process of all creation!

It is the sad truth, that many young men or adolescents try to leave certain areas or cities because they get in trouble with local gangs! Like in the sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". When we arrived in Santo Domingo, DR last Sunday on the 15th of February 2025 there was a gang shooting about 5 kilometers from our AirBnB apartment at 3 O'clock in the morning. A 16 year old Dominican got shot and killed because he had trouble with the local gangs. He planned to move to Germany on the 20th of February to his parents but sadly he got killed before he was able to get on the plane!
"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" where Will Smith travels to another part of the country because of the dangers of gangs is a reality for many men out there! Many young adolescents are forced to join the gangs in their areas, if they refuse many of them get murdered!
A prayer for this young man from Santo Domingo, DR! And a prayer for all these young adolescents all across the world that are forced into these gangs!
