The Lord of the Rings is a trilogy of epic fantasy adventure films directed by Peter Jackson, based on the novel The Lord of the Rings by English author J. R. R. Tolkien. The films are titled identically to the three volumes of the novel: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002), and The Return of the King (2003).

In the Second Age, lords of Elves, Dwarves, and Men each receive Rings of Power. Sauron secretly forges the One Ring, giving it power over the other Rings. Men and Elves battle Sauron. Isildur cuts the Ring from Sauron's finger, ending the Second Age. The Ring corrupts Isildur, who is killed by Orcs. The Ring is lost for 2,500 years until Gollum finds it. Centuries later, the Ring is found by the hobbit Bilbo Baggins.

Sixty years later, Bilbo passes on the Ring to Frodo. The Wizard Gandalf discovers it is the One Ring, and warns Frodo to leave. Frodo sets out with Sam, pursued by Sauron's nine Nazgûl servants. They meet Merry and Pippin and evade the Nazgûl, reaching Bree, but Gandalf is not there, captured by the evil Wizard Saruman. A Ranger named Strider guides them to Rivendell, but they are ambushed on Weathertop by the Nazgûl. Their leader stabs Frodo with a Morgul blade. Arwen, Strider's beloved Elf, rescues Frodo. Gandalf escapes from Saruman's tower. Arwen's father Elrond holds a council. It decides the Ring must be destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom. Frodo volunteers to take the Ring, accompanied by eight others. Bilbo gives Frodo his sword Sting, and a mithril mail-shirt.

The company travels through the Mines of Moria. Gollum follows them to reclaim the ring. They are attacked by Orcs and a troll. A Balrog attacks; the others escape as Gandalf confronts the Balrog and is pulled into darkness. The Fellowship reaches Lothlórien, where Galadriel, the Elf-queen, tells Frodo that he alone can complete the quest. The Fellowship travels downriver. Boromir attempts to take the Ring and is killed by Orcs; Merry and Pippin are captured. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli head to rescue Merry and Pippin while Frodo and Sam travel towards Mordor.

My review: ✨🪄💫✝️💫🪄✨

I first watched the first intstallment of the "Lord of the Rings" movies back in 2001 while I was still living in Belgium. And although the movie was top quality and really well made, I got kind of bored with the movie because it was over three hours long! I have never read the books "Lord of the Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien and I was in my younger years never really a fan of fantasy movies while growing up as a teenager! Years later though I rewatched the movies and with a more mature mind I understood what the movies were trying to depict.

In the books and movies there is one magical ring that controls all other rings who in return control the wearers of these other rings! And this one all magical powerful ring (called the Ring of Power) gives incredible power to the one that wears it! And somehow a young Hobbit name Frodo finds this ring and he is the only one that can somehow wear it without being corrupted by it. Gandalf the Grey tells him that he must destroy the ring at the Mountain of Doom, because eventually the ring will also destroy and consume him! The Lord of the Ring Trilogy is a fascinating story that shows us the many faces of righteousness and evil. During my personal incredible struggle and spiritual battles that I endured for more than 15 years I came to the insight, that nearly everyone is corruptable! Men and women alike are corruptable! If one person in our society gets a little bit of power over other people and he does not have a righteous heart then he will abuse that power! And yes, even women who get power positions in our society if they are not pure and righteous in their hearts will become corrupted by this power! So in essence the entire story of the Lord of the Rings is about how power corrupts the minds of the people that suddenly get power through this magical ring!

In the movie series the characther "Gollum" used to be a nice a Hobbit that found this magical ring and then became totally corrupted by it! He became this degenerated monster that hears voices in his head telling him what to do (schizophrenia). Gollum apparently has killed before to get the ring back into his possession and he tells Frodo that he will help him bring the Ring of Power to Mount Doom. But the thing is Gollum is corrupted and you cannot really trust him!

I personally identified the most with the character Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) that wants to marry a beautiful Elf name Arwen Undómiel (Liv Tyler), they do marry at the end, but the story does not end there. The Elves retreat to their heavenly kingdoms and say goodbye to everyone else. Which I found quite sad. After an incredible, painful and horrific long journey Frodo reaches Mount Doom and is succesful in destroying the Ring of Power!

According to my metaphysical experiences the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy is an approximation of an actual story that actually happened in the pan-multiversal continuum!

Many of the mythological creatures that are shown in the movies actually exist in the other world or spiritual world!
