K-PAX is a 2001 science fiction mystery film based on Gene Brewer's 1995 novel of the same name. An American-German co-production, it was directed by Iain Softley, starring Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, Mary McCormack, and Alfre Woodard. The film tells the story of a psychiatric patient who claims to be an alien from the planet K-PAX. During his treatment, the patient demonstrates an outlook on life that ultimately proves inspirational for his fellow patients and especially for his psychiatrist.

Plot: 💊🏥💧✝️💧🏥💊

After claiming he is an extraterrestrial from the planet 'K-PAX', 1,000 light years away in the Lyra constellation, prot (not capitalized and pronounced with a long O, rhyming with boat) is committed to the Psychiatric Institute of Manhattan. There, psychiatrist Dr. Mark Powell attempts to cure him of his apparent delusions. However, prot is unwavering in his ability to provide cogent answers to questions about himself, K-PAX, and its civilizations. His medical examination only reinforces his story, as prot can see ultraviolet light and he is completely resistant to the effects of Thorazine. Powell introduces him to a group of astrophysicists who are befuddled when prot displays a highly detailed level of knowledge about his claimed star system that was unknown to them.

I watched the movie "K-PAX" while I was myself inside a psychiatric ward in Berlin, Germany. My mother decided to put me there after we had an incredile fight about my virtual girlfriend. After researching for seven months straight from morning until night I burned out. I kept falling asleep for no apparent reasons. And I told my mother about my experiences with the other world! During my stay at the mental institution I knew that I would never get out if I did not act "normal"! Nobody would ever believe me and what I experienced with the other world or spiritual world! So I did my very best to act normal! And within a short amount of time I was released from the psychatric ward.

The movie "K-PAX" showed me that there were other patients who apparently experience incredible things and that nobody believed them! In this story though it was about a human looking extraterrestrial that told the doctors that he was from the planet K-PAX. And that he had special abilities like being able to see ultraviolet light. The message of the movie in short was: don't trust the doctors, nor their medications, and they cannot really help you with your problems! After seeing this movie I was enforced in my beliefs that the earthly doctors could not help me! But after years of thiking about it I came to the conclusion that some people really need help, that some of them really need to take their medication because of their mental problems! Yes, there could be real extraterrestrials looking like us walking the Earth and even landing in the psych wards, but this does not mean that that some patients really need help, even if the doctors cannot heal them fully! This was the criticism of Prot in the movie towards the doctors. Yes, many ailments like chronic depression is system based proble, meaning that our belief structures and societal systems are the true causes of this mental illness. But some people do react well to anti-depressants. And there are also genetic factors that play a role in chronic depression as well! A good friend of mine committed suicide on the 12^th of March 2025 because he could not handle the political situation in Germany, in short my friend had a anxiety disorder and had so much fear that the state would get him for apparent crimes that he did not commit that he decided to take his own life! If he would have reached out to friends and family they might have helped him to get some help from psychiatrists and they might have put him in the psychiatric ward until he would have been stable enough to live on his own again! The movie "K-PAX" though was the movie that I needed to see! I knew that no earthly doctor could help me in this regard, and this movie was the reinforcement of that belief! So in short, I got to watch this movie in the psychiatric ward at the right time!

I even made a painting of the planet K-PAX while being in the mental instituation!

Years later, after my horrible struggle with fighting demons and spirits from the spiritual realms I decided to visit a psychiatrist that was recommended to me by my own father and I accepted the fact that I needed help! I have been taking medications since then, and I still suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and I suffered for over 15 years from Chronic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS)! Because of my spiritual struggles and episodes I assume that I also suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSS).

I recommend for anyone to watch this movie! It really makes you think, but please watch it critically! Not everyone is an extraterrestrial that takes the wrong turn or makes the wrong decision and lands in the psychiatric ward! Some people truly need help from these doctors! And before you do anything permanent like suicide please for the Love of God try getting help!

According to my metaphysical experiences the movie "K-PAX" is an approximation of a real story that actually happened in the pan-multiversal continuum!
