My review of the war movie "Das Boot" ⚔️🪖🛡️✝️🛡️🪖⚔️

Das Boot (Film)
⚔️🪖🛡️✝️🛡️🪖⚔️

Das Boot (The Boat) is a 1981 West German war film written and directed by Wolfgang Petersen, produced by Günter Rohrbach, and starring Jürgen Prochnow, Herbert Grönemeyer and Klaus Wennemann. An adaptation of Lothar-Günther Buchheim's 1973 semi-autobiographical novel of the same name, the film is set during World War II and follows the German submarine U-96 and her crew, as they set out on a hazardous patrol in the Battle of the Atlantic. It depicts both the excitement of battle and the tedium of the fruitless hunt, and shows the men serving aboard U-boats as ordinary individuals with a desire to do their best for their comrades and their country.

Plot: ⚔️🪖🛡️✝️🛡️🪖⚔️

Lieutenant Werner, a war correspondent on the German submarine U-96 in October 1941, is driven by her captain and chief engineer to a French bordello, where he meets some of the crew. Thomsen, another captain, gives a drunken speech to celebrate his Ritterkreuz award.

The next morning, U-96 sails out of the harbour of La Rochelle, and Werner is given a tour of the boat. He observes ideological differences between the new crew members and the hardened veterans, particularly the captain, who is cynical about the war. The new men, including Werner, are mocked by the rest, who share a tight bond. One Nazi officer, 1-WO (the first [watch] officer), is disliked due to his pro-Nazi beliefs and meticulous grooming habits, which tie up the only bathroom. After days of boredom, the crew is excited by another U-boat's spotting of an enemy convoy, but they are soon spotted by a British destroyer and attacked with depth charges. They escape with light damage.

My review: ⚔️🪖🛡️✝️🛡️🪖⚔️

I remember rewatching the movies "das Boot" years ago while I was still living in Berlin, Germany. I had already watched the movie when I was a teenager, and I was horrified about what submarine crews had to endure during the horrible conflict of World War 2! Years later after waking up to the horrible truth about World War 2 I rewatched the movie. The movie depicts in my eyes a very close approximation and a very realistic approach to the true horrors of submarine warfare! Of course, there are crew members who don't really trust their superiors, and others who are ardent supporters of their leaders.

If you want to know the true revisionist history of the Third Reich and how World War 2 was really started by the powers that be, then I suggest you watch the professionally made documentaries that I embedded on my website here: IG's: History. In short the German Reich under leadership of Adolf Hitler was provoked into the war! I made a video in German (the english version got sadly censored by YouTube) about this here:

Alex spricht über den Polenfeldzug in 1939: ⚔️🪖🛡️✝️🛡️🪖⚔️

The movie "das Boot" depicts the story of the German Submarine U-96 that goes out into the atlantic ocean to destroy allied warships. Adolf Hitler decided that a good submarine force was the best way to oppose the allied superiority on naval warships. And at the beginning the "Wolf Tactic" of the U-Boat Fleet was very successful! Only by the end of the war, the British and U.S. Americans got hold of one "Enigma Encryption" device by capturing one of the German U-Boats. And this is were the german U-Boats started to be destroyed on masse. The German Enigma Machine was a superb technology on how to scramble and encrypt messages, and mathematicians and scientists all across the world tried to break the enigma machine encryption code for years without success! But after the Allies captured one of the enigma machines intact and the documents they started to decypher all communications of the U-Boats with their commanders. The German High Command could not believe that Enigma was compromised after all the encryption of the Enigma Machine was foolproof! So, they did not take measures to change their communication methods. By the end of the war the mortality rate of a submarine crew was at 80%!

By the end of the war howewer over 100 very advanced U-Boats (classes 11, 12 and 13) simply vanished from the face of the Earth without leaving any trace! These U-Boats were used to relocate hundreds if not thousands of soldiers, scientists and civilians to the newly created colonies in Agartha (the hollow Earth). The Imperial Germans built very advanced Saucer Type Spacecrafts (the so called Vril and Haunebu Flight Gyros) and the long carrier spaceships named "Andromeda Device". They relocated assumeably over 200000 people to secret colonies and bases all across the world. If you want to know more about this subject please visit my website: "The Imperial Germans".

The movie "das Boot" does not focus on the political aspects and the reasons of the war, it focuses on the men that served in these submarines and did their duties to the best of their abilities!

If you want to watch a very well made but also horrific naval war movie then I suggest you watch the film "Das Boot"!
